Birmingham Education Authority has published the Authority's Local Offer for Special Educational Needs on the Website 'My Care'. The key focus will be to provide a ‘Partnership Approach’, ’Appropriate and Effective Teaching and Learning’ and ‘Open and Honest communication’ for children and young people with SEN from the age of 0 to 25.
At John Willmott School we will be working alongside outside agencies from Birmingham Local Education Authority to provide the best support we can for those pupils who attend our School with Special Educational Needs.
Our team of SENCO, Inclusion Managers and Teaching Assistants work together, with our Teaching Staff, to provide the best possible outcomes for our pupils identified with SEN.
The School follows the new 2014 Code of Practice and our offer for SEN is outlined in the document below.
Details of the provision for SEN in Birmingahm can be found here: Birmingham Local Offer (SEND)
Our School SEN Policy is available to view in the Policies section.
