John Willmott School is an 11-18 mixed Comprehensive School located in the popular residential area of Sutton Coldfield and within easy reach of Birmingham. The school has been judged to be “taking effective action” on three consecutive occasions by the Birmingham Education Partnership and we are looking for committed teachers to join us on our journey to Good.

Office Manager

GR3: SCP 20 (£19,430) – SCP 28 (£24,964) pro rata
36.5 hours per week, term time only plus 2 weeks

We are looking to appoint an Office Manager to manage the school office, manage the administrative team and provide clerical and administrative support to enable the delivery of a professional and efficient administrative service to the school.  The successful candidate will need to have experience of managing and motivating a team of staff, and a high level capability in the use of IT packages.

Personal Assistant to Headteacher and HR Administrator

GR3: SCP 20 (£19,430) – SCP 28 (£24,964) pro rata

We are looking to appoint a Personal Assistant to the Headteacher, who will be responsible for the provision of full, professional and efficient secretarial service to the Headteacher. This role also encompasses confidential work for the school to support the School Business Manager - HR, relating to staffing matters. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate professionalism in dealing with sensitive and highly confidential matters and a high level capability in the use of IT packages.
