Natasha Pearce Year 11 recently delivered a lesson on organ transplants to the Year 9 literacy group. They are currently reading the novel Pig Heart Boy by Malorie Blackman and this talk fitted in well with the theme of the novel. The main character needs a heart transplant.
Natasha was fantastic! She prepared a written starter activity for the group and prepared an amazing power point presentation which she delivered with confidence. It brought the issues of organ donation to life for the group who were in turn an attentive and sensitive audience.
Many congratulations to Natasha for speaking so brilliantly on what is a very difficult topic.
