Enterprise Students Raise Money for Charity

On Friday 25th May our Sixth Form Enterprise students held a coffee event with the objective to sell as many Costa drinks and snacks as possible to raise money for the Costa Foundation. This charity focuses on building schools and libraries giving children free education within developing countries.  £100 was raised through the selling of drinks and snacks to teachers and Sixth Formers. This was part of our L3 Enterprise course, where we had to create our own social enterprise and consider many business functions including marketing, selling, purchasing of stock and customer service. Enterprise student Tina Beharami is currently the Charity Ambassador at The Fort's Costa Coffee and she took the lead sourcing the stock and training the other students on how to make and serve the coffee. Throughout this experience we have gained a better understanding of new enterprises as well as more confidence and entrepreneurial skills which will be very helpful for the future.

Thanks to all the Enterprise students who worked so hard, it was a great atmosphere in Sixth Form.
